BUILD: Project Santa Anita

After one year, the BUILD-Santa Anita Community Development Plan is finally being put in to action. BUILD is sponsoring and conducting more than a dozen projects in the community, some in conjunction with partner NGO, FUNDAP. Ten BUILD students, a group comprised of members from both the 2008 and 2009 teams, will spend one month in Santa Anita conducting a large-scale socioeconomic diagnostic, constructing the 25,000 plant-capacity seed nursery, and teaching introductory computer classes, among other projects.
