Gris en Garde, Haiti

Small rural town in the in the North. Farmers work the land with their hands, their machetes, and their faith. Without any access to irrigation, equipment, fertilizer, pesticides, government support, farmers can go hungry sitting on ample and fertile land. Cut off from these resources, rural Haitians rely on their local community for resources and support. Farmers work collectively to reap the yield of a demanding earth.
