Gulu District, Uganda 2007

An HIV+ woman watches her grandchildren playing in Koro Camp, Gulu District. Koro Camp was created in 1996 as a result of the civil war between the Government of Uganda and the Lord's Resistance Army. Despite Uganda's international attention as an AIDS prevention success story, the prevalence of HIV is 9% in the war-affected North, 3% above the national average.
